This foot is used to insert fine piping into projects giving a professional finish to dresses, jackets, bags, place mats, book covers and so much more! This foot can also be used to make your own piping, which is particularly useful for achieving a perfect fabric match or unique print piping. This can be created using a chain stitch or a three or four thread overlocking stitch. After inserting, the piping the cord can be removed from the piping to reveal a 3mm insertion of folded fabric.
